When preparing to perform a software upgrade, please take note of the following concurrent compatibility tables which illustrate the supported upgrade paths.

* New License Agreements have been introduced for Storwize V7000 Unified software versions 1.3.0.3-1p and 1.3.1.0-13m. Customers upgrading from a release prior to these versions will need to accept the new License Agreement to proceed with the upgrade. Please refer to the upgrade procedure documentation in the Upgrading section of the IBM Storwize V7000 Unified 1.3 Information Center.
Note: The IBM Storwize V7000 Unified V1.3.1.3 release, addresses the issue relating to Access Control Lists (ACLs) on Independent filesets causing loss of access to files.
IBM strongly recommends that customers refer to the following Flash alert for further advice on this critical issue:

Upgrading to Storwize V7000 V6.4.0.x is NOT Supported for IBM Storwize V7000 Unified

The Storwize V7000 Unified software package includes any software updates that are available for both file modules and Storwize V7000 block storage. All updates are automatically applied as part of the upgrade process. The table below is intended for reference only; it is not necessary to upgrade file storage and block storage separately.
